राणीसर

Ranisar is documented as a historic Thikana (feudal estate) of the Patawat Rathore clan, subclan Jaimalot, per Indian Rajputs’ Rathore genealogy records.
Its Thakur lineage traces continuously from Rao Pato Ji — the Patawat clan’s founding ancestor — through Rao Hamir Ji, Rao Ratan Ji, Rao Jaimal Ji, Rao Gopaldass Ji, Rao Ramchander Ji, and Rao Mukandass Ji, to Thakur Trilok Singh Ji (1st Thakur of Ranisar), continuing down to the present Thakur, Kulranjan Singh Ji.
There is one possible trace. The Census of Marwar 1941 lists a Phalodi-pargana village that reads as Ransisar — which may or may not be this Ranisar. The two names are close, and the census pages we hold are photographs rather than clean scans, so the row cannot be read with confidence. The page title here calls Ranisar a Patawat thikana on the strength of community records; that has not yet been matched to a document.
If you are from Ranisar, you almost certainly know more about it than this page does. Send what you have to the History Committee →
