चाम्पासर

Listed among the 24 villages of ठिकाणा आऊ (Thikana Aau) in Patawat community records. Detailed history for this village has not been documented yet — family heads and elders are invited to contribute. Census records list this village as "Champasar."
There is one possible trace. The Census of Marwar 1941 lists a Phalodi-pargana village written Chanpasar — a spelling close to Chapasar, and the village-records slug for this place is champasar. But that census row appears to record the village as khalsa (crown land) under the Pokarana clan rather than as a Patawat jagir, and the scan is not clear enough to be sure the row even refers to this village.
We are publishing that reading rather than hiding it. It may point to a different village of a similar name; or it may be correct for 1941 while the village’s association with Patawat Pargana belongs to an earlier period, since villages passed between houses and in and out of khalsa more than once — Chimana is a documented case of exactly that. Until someone checks the original page, nothing here is settled.
