Barjangsar in the records

The Barjangsar line begins with Achaldas, son of Ranchhordas, who moved here from the Aau house; the thikana records carry the line on through Pem Singh, Raybhan, Fateh Singh, Rawat Singh and Pirdan, at 2,000 rekh. In the Census of Marwar 1941 Barjangsar is a Patawat jagir village (population 373 in 1901), with the smaller village of Jariya pertaining to its jagir.
