Ridmalsar in the records

Ridmalsar — bearing the name of Rao Ridmal himself — came to the clan in the founding grant of S.1532 (1475 CE), given with Karnu and Chotila to Rao Pato Ji by Rao Jodha. In the Census of Marwar 1941, Rirmalsar stands as a Patawat jagir village of 2,000 rekh, population 380 in 1901 and 448 by 1941.
